The old addage of ‘sleep on it’ brought a whole new meaning this past week. One day there were no spider webs and as if by magic overnight there were thousands of them! I am not a huge fan of spiders, nor their webs, but these had a quality that was fairy like about them.
Most of them were perfect and all of them had miniscule drops of dew on them which made them rainbow like at times with these little fairy lights as the sun touched each drop.
No fence post was left unattended and …
in some cases entire bushes had a little silk veil.
For this reason, I am going to let nature speak for my #magicmoment
Also joining up with #Somethingfortheweekend from http://thevoiceofsarahmiles.com/ and http://diaryofthedad.co.uk
Nature had been very busy overnight. Lovely shots.
Thanks Erica! They are all with my phone – have a great week! x
Beautiful photos, what incredible spider webs 🙂
Thank you Only Best for Baby – they were there for only a day 🙂
I so love the photos – the spider webs looks amazing!
Morning and thank you blueberetmum – I reckoned so too – although am not a fan of spiders they do seem to have something about them on days like this.
Wow, amazing photos. Lovely Magic Moment.
Thanks Sarah and thanks for stopping by from Magic Moments!
Wow wonderful photo’s and the one with the sun shining on it is amazing
Why thanks! I like that one too! x
Wow! How amazing to wake up and find that!
I felt a bit sorry for my husband who is arachnophobic!
Wow that looks amazing, cant say I like spiders although they are very artistic!!
I am with you on that one! Wonder if they had a twitter party to decide the date and time?
They are so beautiful aren’t they? Great pictures. An enormously fat spider has woven one over the shed door so sadly going to have to disturb 🙁
Found you at Magic Moments – I host the Empty Your Archive link party on Wednesdays at 10pm and would absolutely love to see you there – Alice @ Mums Make Lists
Eek! The shed door….hmm…yes no way around that one!
Thanks for stopping by – I’ll add to my calendar although am half awake by 10pm lol!
Wow that was all overnight? The last photo is beautiful!
All in one night! There was a bush on the side of the road that was completely white but it was too dangerous to stop to take a photo. x
Gorgeous photos! How amazing for them all to appear like that. I do like spiders and love seeing the beauty of their webs, so I’d have enjoyed this!
I’m glad someone likes spiders! I had to ask a friend’s son whether one in the garage was a goodie or baddie as it was hugely pregnant…apparently it’s a common garden spider so I can rest at ease.
They’re beautiful, my #silentsunday this week was a spider’s web that caught our attention one morning…think it must be something to do with the chaneg in the seasons…but they do really speak for themselves!
I love the way that at least one day a year – there is a message to say Autumn is here and let the spider’s declare it!
wow they do look magical x
Thank you and thank you for stopping by x
I hate spiders and their webs – however your photographs are stunning and I have to admit there’s a certain beauty to them!
You have hit the nail on the head about webs and spiders – I am not a fan but feel the same way on this occasion. Thank you for your kind comment x
Beautiful photos from a busy spider
Thanks Fiona – now if they could find my cleaning fairy whilst they are at work…that would be helpful!
awww these are stunning!! they really are magical!
thanks for linking up with #MagicMoments
Thanks Jaime! x
Nature had been busy – lovey photos! On our walk to school this morning the bushes were all covered, it was wonderful 🙂 #MagicMoments
Thanks Sara! and the precision of the webs was something to behold. Thanks for popping over x
These are AMAZING shots! Love the one with the rainbow droplets. I was desperate to get out their with my camera but alas, nursery run and work took over.
Thank you for linking up with Something for the Weekend #SFTW
Thanks for stopping by Sarah…funny enough – these were taken on the walk to school with my phone – seems to have done quite a nice job. x
Those webs are stunning. Gorgeous photo’s capturing them too.
Why thanks!
Beautiful! I was thinking the same on Tuesday morning driving through the forest they looked magical!
I would love to know how on one specific night they are all able to communicate & spin their webs together. It’s like Rumple Stiltskin (sp?) has told them 😉
I too don’t like spiders, however that is cool! Linking up via #magicmoments
Thanks for stopping over and hope you are having a good week! x
