The downhills were fun…the uphills…not so much ๐ x
Gosh, that would have been a bike ride n half! I want to know now who was muddier, you or the bike?! clearlybex recently posted…Silent Sunday – 9th February 2014
I hate to say it Bex…but it was the bike. The mud was acting like a brake and just when we cleared it and thought we had a smooth run, the back of the bike would rear up as it was like someone emergency braking the front brake!
That it can be except near the end when it was helping the boys to walk most of the way back through the mud. Might choose a little less muddier day. Our poor washing machine and showers lol!
Wow – surprised the bike was still able to move – were you as muddy? Hope it was a good ride.
It moved along at the pace at which we could get the mud out lol! The boys had fun
now that looks like super fun! Jaime Oliver recently posted…Silent Sunday 9/2/14
Thank goodness for high pressure hoses and some time! Should have seen our shower lol!
now that was a seriously off road experience! Becky Willoughby (@LakesSingleMum) recently posted…#SilentSunday
It most definitely was and to be fair we started on a path that looked pretty good ๐
Hope you weren’t the one who had to clean the bikes when you got home! Californian Mum recently posted…Silent Sunday
Thankfully no – the supportive husband did that whilst I sorted the boys out
I am sure it is even more fun getting muddy (well, when there’s a hot shower waiting at least). sarahhillwheeler recently posted…A wet week in Cricklade
You said it! We have had it on one occasion where they were allowed to go through all the puddles in the village only to come home and the boiler had cut out and so there was frantic boiling of kettles and pots to warm us up!
Hmmm, my husband keeps saying he’d love a car valeting business…..perhaps he should branch out a bit with his ideas?! Hope you had fun! RachJ recently posted…Silent Sunday โ 9th February 2014 #SilentSunday
ah…but the question is…would he be extra busy actually riding or cleaning ๐
Thankfully my supportive husband did the bike cleaning bit
Goodness that must have been hard work riding in that, I wouldn’t fancy cleaning it up afterwards either! Lou’s Lake Views recently posted…Vodou (Voodoo) in Ottawa
Oh Lou it was very hard work…but a good memory nonetheless x

Haha! more like a push walk than a bike ride in the end lol! It was a good idea at the time!
Wow – surely a sign of a good ride?!

It was fun until we had to carry the boys bikes as the mud was clogging faster than we could push lol!!
Woah! Now that is a muddy tyre!
Thank goodness for a high pressure hose as it was in the chain too!
If the bike looked like that, I wonder what your feet looked like!

It was like walking with those ankle weights that people use…no need to buy them with that much mud clinging to the boots !
look like a fun bike ride/mud bath ๐ x
