That’s a very striking photo. Lovely vivid autumnal colours. Louise recently posted…Silent Sunday
Thank you Louise
Beautiful. Saw a great crafty post the other day on the imagination tree I think about getting the kids to paint individual branches then standing them against the wall for decoration. Looked great x
Thanks Kath – will have a google and see if I can find it x
gosh hope it didnt do any damage on the way down? Jaime Oliver recently posted…Silent Sunday 26/10/14
They were really lucky it fell the way it did as it is a massive tree x
OOhh is this the affect of the heavy wind and rain from days before? #mysundayphoto Merlinda Little (@pixiedusk) recently posted…The B&W Photography Project | Week #16
We had thought it would have been worse, so one tree down in the village is not that bad x
Very impactful, lets hope we don’t have any more big storms this season. Coombemill recently posted…Silent Sunday / Project 52
Us too Fiona! As it’s the beginning of Winter, my brain might just prepare for one or two more lol!

The people who own it were away and came back to the roots sticking out on their drive. Otherwise, thankfully all good x
I suppose your photo sums up this last weeks weather… with hurricane’s etc coming to visit.
At first I thought wow what a fab photo with it’s autumnal colours but then I thought aww such a shame.
Hopefully there wasn’t anything else damaged
Have a great Sunday
We thought it was a shame too Neesie as it is such a large tree x
I would love to say that was our garden Victoria – it’s a field that we go through on a foot path when we walk the dogs in our village. I am just really glad it fell into the field and not on their house.
What a shame it has fallen down. At least someone has some firewood. Great picture. HelpfulMum recently posted…26.10.14 Silent Sunday

Wow! Lucky that none of you were out in the garden at the time. Lots of firewood now! #silentsunday
